Nimbuzz, the popular mobile VoIP operator & social network aggregator, announced on Thursday that it included voice calls (VoIP) on the Android flavor of its application. According to the company, the addition of the new feature is meant to offer a complete solution to those who are already using the instant messaging and social network aggregation service.

The development of Nimbuzz for Android application has seen a fast advancement, and the inclusion of VoIP is the latest step in this process. The Nimbuzz application is available for all users of a handset running under Google's mobile operating system, and can be downloaded for free from the Android Market, as well as from its website the company notes.

“Utilizing Global IP Solutions’ VoiceEngine Mobile, Nimbuzz will now deliver high quality VoIP calls from Nimbuzz on Android, as well as calls over Skype, Google, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger, providing users with a complete communications and messaging service via the new Nimbuzz application,” Nimbuzz says about the application.

The Nimbuzz software solution was released on the market back in May 2008, and it already enjoys millions of users all around the world. What it can offer to them includes free calls and instant messaging with their friends, either over their network or via social communities, as it includes support for Skype, Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, Google Talk (Orkut), AIM, Facebook , MySpace, Gadu Gadu and others. According to the company, Numbuzz has just passed the 13 million users mark, and is now available in 220 countries all around the globe.
