Nikon recently launched two new cameras on the market, the mid-to-high level D5300 back in October and a new retro-styled high-end digital SLR, the Nikon Df.

Following the release of these new cameras, Nikon also updated their proprietary editing applications, View NX and Capture NX to support the newly introduced DSLRs.

Today, Nikon released yet another update, this time for its NEF Codec utility, a small tool that allows you to preview your Nikon RAW (NEF) images on your PC as any JPEG or TIFF image.

The new update comes with added support for the aforementioned camera models (D5300 and Df), allowing you to browse through your NEF image collection without the need to open them with a different image editing program.

Nikon NEF Codec supports a wide range of camera models including the latest digital SLRs, mirrorless cameras and compact camera models. You can download Nikon NEF Codec right away from our website.
