CES 2014 has seen quite a few announcements from one of the major players on the digital camera market, but Nikon is ready for round two, with the CP+ show in Yokohoama, Japan around the corner.

According to NikonRumors, the Nippon giant's next DSLR camera announcement (besides the official introduction of its future flagship model, the D4s) will be the successor of the current D7100 model, the D7200.

A while ago, there were a few rumors that Nikon was planning to revive the D300/D300s series with a new D400 model, but, at the same time, the Japanese manufacturer could put all its efforts to make the new D7200 digital SLR its APS-C format flagship.

Nikon is expected to announce 3 or 4 new DSLR cameras in the following months, and if we take into consideration the fact that the company has recently revealed its latest entry-level models, it's possible that at least one new full-frame DSLR will be presented later this year.
