Nikon D4s will become the company's new flagship digital SLR model, taking the place of the popular D4 model and, according to the latest rumors, it will come with a few improvements over its predecessor.

While until now Nikon D4s was rumored to feature the same 16MP full-frame CMOS sensor as the D4, online retailer Adorama has listed the D4s on its website, adding that the DSLR will come with a 24MP image sensor.

As CP+ 2014 opens its doors to the public in a few hours, I guess we'll just have to wait a little bit longer for Nikon to finally reveal the official specs of the camera.

Besides the 24MP 36.0 x 23.9mm CMOS sensor, Adorama also points that the D4s will be able to capture 11 frames per second in burst shooting mode and will come with a 51-point AF system, just like its predecessor. Recent rumors state that Nikon's new flagship will hit market shelves with the same price tag as the current D4 model ($5,996.95 / €4,400).
