Nikon D3300 was announced by the Nippon manufacturer at CES 2014

Nikon made quite a few announcements at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and among them it unveiled its latest entry-level digital SLR camera, the Nikon D3300.

Today, Nikon Japan has revealed that the D3300 will hit market shelves in Japan as well as in the rest of the world on February 6. As previously mentioned, D3300 will be available for purchase as body only, a single lens kit (black and red) packed with the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II, and a double zoom lens kit (black and red).

In addition to that, on the same day you will also be able to purchase the new AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II and AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G ED FX lenses from the official Nikon store or your local retailer at a price of $246.95 / €180 and $596.95 / €436, respectively.
