Without prior notice, Nikon revealed today quite a few new cameras, including the P600 and P530 superzoom bridge cameras, S9700 superzoom compact, and two new waterproof models (AW120 and S32).

Apart from these new models, the Nippon giant also announced a new low-end compact camera capable of capturing RAW files, namely the Coolpix P340.

The new Nikon P340 is equipped with a 12.2MP 1/1.7'' BSI CMOS image sensor and has a 5x optical zoom 24-120mm (35mm equivalent) lens with an f/1.8-5.6 maximum aperture. Besides RAW stills, it is also capable of capturing 1080/60i Full HD video footage with low noise and enhanced colors.

Apart from that, Nikon P340 features a 921K-dot 3-inch LCD display and built-in Wi-Fi that will allow you to instantly share your photos and videos on any compatible smart device. Nikon P340 will hit market shelves starting March, at a suggested retail price of $379.95 / €280.
