New details are emerging from the Lawson-Saatchi lawsuit, as former “Domestic Goddess” Nigella Lawson admitted in court she let her children smoke cannabis. This latest bombshell comes days after she also admitted in court to using cocaine.

When Lawson was asked, under oath, if she smoked joints “with or in front of ” her daughter, she answered “Yes,” but then the judge cut off the questioning before the matter could be clarified.

Now, one of the defendants, Lisa Grillo, who is being charged with defrauding the Lawson-Saatchi couple of ₤685,000 (€813,346 or $1,117,670) has declared that indeed, Nigella allowed her children to smoke cannabis.

The line of questioning was revolving around why Lisa Grillo agreed to buy the TV star's children cigarettes, when they were 16 and 17 years old. To which Grillo replied “Well, if Nigella Lawson lets the children smoke weed...”

This is yet another blow for Nigella as she was already forced to admit in court about her drug problem when she had, in fact, declared that she was only an occasional user of cocaine.

Now it seems that Nigella Lawson might have lied in court about her addiction when she said “I did not have a drug problem, I had a life problem.”

The famous couple have filled a lawsuit against former personal assistant Lisa Grillo and her sister Francesca for embezzling hundreds of thousands of pounds, but the two sisters insist that Nigella let them use the funds in return for keeping her addiction secret and strongly deny the fraud charge.

While there was no explicit understanding, Grillo says she was allowed to pay for personal items such as clothes, designer shoes and cosmetics on her work credit card, that was supposed to be used for home expenses.

Nigella Lawson is a famous TV personality in Great Britain, as well as a published author, known for her cooking shows and cookbooks, while also having participated as a judge on cooking shows such as “The Iron Chef” and “The Taste.”
