Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan denied she has ever taken cocaine while she was at school. Jennifer Young, former friend of the star, confessed last week that Sheridan takes drugs almost every day and she and Nicollette, 41, used to snort the drug together after classes.
"If you were young and gorgeous in Hollywood you couldn't escape coke. The first time Nicollette and I got high was after school." However, Sheridan slammed the acussations, calling them "absolutely untrue".
"Desperate Housewives", a dark satire about life in suburbia, ABC's freshman hit - which cleaned up Thursday with 15 Emmy nominations - asked to be considered in the comedy series category, usually home to half-hour sitcoms.
The 57th Emmy Awards are scheduled to air Sept. 18 on CBS. A host has yet to be announced for the Shrine Auditorium ceremony in which 27 awards will be presented.
