14 DAY TRIAL // Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and Formula 1 racer boyfriend Lewis Hamilton may be back together.
A source close to the famous pilot has stated that a meeting was suggested by Scherzinger. The couple were together for five years before splitting up, just as wedding bell rumors were firing up.
Hamilton had told the press that they might be tying the knot before reaching six years. The pair cited a difference in schedules as the main reason for the separation.
“Both Nicole and Lewis had a bit of time off so it was the perfect time to meet. After the split he was devastated so when he suggested that he fly out to see Nicole, he was delighted she said yes. He went to her house in Los Angeles to talk things through and both thought it was a great success,” the insider describes, as relayed by K Pop Starz.
It appears that both stars have their plates full until the holidays, but rumor has it that they are trying to make it work.
“They desperately want to be together but they know that from now until Christmas is going to be really tough. They’re both willing to give it their best shot and try to make a success of it though. They love one another dearly and have deeply missed each other since they split,” the insider adds.
Meanwhile, Nicole is on a short break, but she is set to start shooting the bootcamp stage of “The X Factor” competition, on which she is a judge.
“While Nicole's team say the couple are still officially broken up, both are desperate to resolve the situation. Even though they spend so much time apart in different countries because of their work commitments, they were constantly on the phone and text messaging,” a source that has information on the singer has said.
