“Doll Domination,” released in 2008, failed to have the kind of reception the Pussycat Dolls and Interscope were probably expecting. Because of the dwindling sales and the release of a new single cover that has Nicole as a collaborator of sorts to the PCD track, speculation is again building up that the band has already breathed its last breath, gossip blogger Perez Hilton believes.

As fans must know, this is not the first time that word gets in the media that Nicole and the other girls are not seeing eye to eye, a situation presumably made worse by the poor sales of their reunion album. With “Jai Ho” also released as a PCD track “featuring Nicole Scherzinger” and now “Hush Hush” too, fans and media representatives can’t but wonder the band is already dead and the girls are only sticking together until the “Doll Domination” tour comes to an end.

“When the Pussycat Dolls’ version of ‘Jai Ho’ was released, it was released under the name ‘Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger,’ which everyone found a bit odd. Now, the Dolls are preparing for the release of ‘Hush Hush,’ a solo song which only Nicole sang on tour in Europe – while the other Dolls were off stage. Again, they are now releasing it as ‘Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger.’” Perez says.

“Since Interscope, the girls’ record label, seems to be keeping quiet as to WHY this is, all fans can do is think up reasons. The big reason most people believe is that Nicole has actually now LEFT the Pussycat Dolls but is still remaining with them until the Doll Domination (their current poor-selling album) era is over.” the famous celebrity blogger further states.

As we also reported, the first rumors of the PCD hitting rock bottom emerged as they were preparing to open for Britney Spears on her Circus tour, when Interscope reportedly told them that they had to cut back on the number of dancers since the poor album sales could no longer allow for them to keep so many. Also then, speculation began to build up as to the girls constantly fighting with Nicole, mostly because of her obvious desire to pursue a solo career and stop performing with the band.

No confirmation of the above rumor has yet been made – if ever. However, Perez is not the only one to note the oddity on the cover, which simply does not make sense since Nicole is, in theory, a part of the PCD and should not be included as a collaborator.
