Nicole Ritchie Splits Up with Her Fiancée

After a nine-month engagement, Nicole Ritchie and club DJ Adam Goldstein have called it off.
Nicole's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, has confirmed the news, but offered no further details.
The two got engaged one year after they had started dating.

Their split comes days after Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos had announced their engagement. It seems that the two former friends, Paris and Nicole, can't stay engaged at the same time.
Despite their feud, they are to star in the fourth season of "Simple Life".

But that wouldn't have been possible without the miracle of modern technology. That is, Paris and Nicole will never actually make any sort of contact to each other while filming the series.
Therefore, the producers will have to hire two separate crews.

The socialites will take turns and play the role of the wife/mum in a family.
There is competition involved, as the above mentioned family members are to decide which was best, Paris or Nicole.
