After almost a year and a half since they became foes Nicole Ritchie finally talked about what led to the brutal split and the following bitch-fights between her and Paris Hilton.

The media had loads of allegations, bad words and statements coming from both Ritchie and Hilton to publish, yet no one knew the real reason of the separation of the famous and infamous duo.

Rumors had to cover everything that might have led to the dreadful event: from a certain male the two spoiled rotten blonds each wanted for herself to Paris being just too self -absorbed and bitching around too much for Nicole to take it anymore.

For the fist time since January 2005 Nicole Ritchie told Vanity Fair the "true" reasons that made the 2 friends split:
"When I got out of rehab, I had to figure out what path to go down, and part of that included taking certain people out of my life. I just decided I didn't want to be her (Hilton's) friend anymore. We're just two completely different people; we don't have that much in common."

At least that's her side of the story.
Paris insists she broke the friendship because Nicole was too jealous of her success and… good looks.
