The adopted daughter of soul star Lionel Richie plans to launch her own fragrance, just like her former THE SIMPLE LIFE co-star Paris Hilton did. Nicole Richie is currently checking out scents that contain lavender and ginger, according to America's In Touch magazine. The socialite intends to call her new perfume 'Different'. Nicole Richie has recently declared that the probability of making peace with Hilton is too small to even think about it. Speaking about their split, Richie has told Jane magazine, in the November issue, that the rift with Paris has actually been going on longer than reported, MTV.com published. "We really haven't been friends in probably about two years", Nicole revealed. Hilton turned their fight in quite a scandal in April, when she told newspapers that her friendship with Nicole was over. "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends," Hilton said at the time. "I will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I am ever going to say about it." Speaking about that incident, Nicole said:"I know that Paris loves to talk about it and that stuff, but that's just not my style." Asked if she will agree to reconcile with Paris, Richie replied: "No, not at this point."
