Nicole Kidman's grandma is worried about her niece

Nicole Kidman is desperately trying to convince her grandma that all the rumors about her are untrue. Kidman is calling her 90-year-old gran from New Zealand once a week to make sure she doesn't believe what the tabloids are writing.

She says, "She reads it (gossip) and I call her once a week to check in. She's very smart, she's very wise and she just says, 'Are you getting married?'".

Kidman confessed that she listen to her grandmother's advise regarding her looks and her life. "(She'll say), 'Listen, I don't think you look as good with blonde hair... I don't like that dress you were wearing.'".

"I ask her advice on stuff. She's still very lucid, she doesn't wear glasses, has all her own teeth. She says this proudly. It's kind of amazing."
