Nicole Kidman is said to have bought a new house across the road from her ex-husband Tom Cruise, in a an effort for sharing custody of their scientologist kids, Connor and Isabella, according to the UK's Sun online.
Nicole's publicist, Wendy Day, said the actress did not invest in any real estate in the neighborhood.
"She wouldn't have bought a house in LA because Nicole is in New York most of the time these days," the publicist said.
Nicole Kidman, who has recently declared that she has almost lost many of her friends due to her isolation as the wife of Tom Cruise, wants to be closer to her adopted children, who are now in the custody of her former husband, who is raising them as Scientologists. Katie Holmes, the 26-year-old actress about to become the third Mrs. Cruise, has also become a Scientologist.
According to the opinion of a radio talk show host in her native town, "when you're involved in a cult and you're isolated from your family and your friends and you fire your manager and now you're surrounded by Scientologists, that's not a good sign."
