14 DAY TRIAL // Nicole Kidman married Keith Urban in 2006, saying in an interview that she found love just when she had given up hope on it because the failure of her marriage to Tom Cruise had broken her heart. According to a new report, more heartbreak is in the cards for her.
This week’s issue of Star magazine claims to have it on good authority that her marriage to Keith is on the verge of collapse and that divorce is a clear possibility judging by how things stand between them. They have been having issues for the past 6 months, mostly because they spend a lot of time apart.
As you can see in the photo above (click to enlarge), the cover of the tab says the two are heading to a $175 million (€126.6 million) divorce, with smaller headlines listing some of the problems they’ve been going through. “Constant fighting and jealous rages” are listed among them, as also is the fact that they have not had relations “in years,” and that Nicole allegedly “binges on Botox.”
We’ll find out how Botox use can ruin a marriage in the print issue because, for the time being, the online preview issue doesn’t mention that yet.
“For the country singer, spending time with his family right now may be crucial. In fact, sources close to the couple tell Star that the Aussies have been struggling with their marriage lately. For the past six months, they’ve been spending most of their time on different continents, and the time apart will continue now that Keith has extended his tour into the summer,” Star writes.
Nicole was upset to hear of Keith’s decision so, in order to placate her, he’s been traveling back and forth Australia and the US whenever getting the chance. So far, he’s had little success with that because, Star says, Nicole also thinks he’s flirting a tad too much with Jennifer Lopez on American Idol and she tends to fly into jealous rages because of it.
“He’s groveling. He told her that he wants to put their family first and get their marriage back on track,” a source close to the couple is quoted as saying. “She has nightmares about being on her own again — especially after she was so badly hurt when Tom [Cruise] ditched her. She dreads what might be around the corner.”
Nicole and Keith have two adorable baby girls together. From her marriage to Cruise, she has two adopted children, but they haven’t spent too much time together over the course of the years, after the divorce. Again, distance took its toll on that.
