Nicole Kidman, The Workaholic

Nicole has signed on to star in 12 films in then past three years, and is very attached to her work.
Some say the reason for her becoming and workaholic is the fear of ageing.

Nicole Kidman works a lot to offset the sad fate of Hollywood stars over 40, who are likely to disappear, while younger Hollywood stars are in higher demand.

The Bewitched director, Nora Ephron declared:

Every so often, someone asks, 'Why is she doing so many movies?' I just look at them and think, maybe you don't know what happens to actresses"

Maybe you don't know that almost nobody makes it past 40 without their career taking some kind of turn. I think Nicole will go on working after she's 40, but you can't delude yourself that it'll be the same parts.

Many of the actresses who approach their forties battle their ageing fears and take up on as much work as they can, before becoming "too old" for some parts.

Sandra Bullock (41), Halle Berry (38), Julia Roberts (37), Renee Zellweger and Cate Blanchett (both 36) are among the stars belatedly recalled this fact of Hollywood life.

Many of the screen beauties turn to cometic surgery, in an attempt to kepp their under-25 audience. But some of them aged beautifully and even reached their career peak after celebrating the big 40, like Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Meryl Streep and Susan Sarandon.

Nicole Kidman has laso become a fashion icon. The 38-year old beauty sits atop People magazine's "Best-Dressed" list, alongside her ex-husband’s fiancée, Katie Holmes.
