14 DAY TRIAL // Talk about random celebrity pairings: according to insiders, rapper Nicki Minaj and former Disney heartthrob Zac Efron hooked up for a one-time thing this summer, Star Magazine reports in its latest print issue (story via CB).
Though Nicki has been going out of her way to avoid talking about her personal life with the press and, if possible, to not encourage any kind of rumor in this sense, not even she is safe from that.
The tab claims that she spent a “steamy night” with the 25-year-old handsome actor back in late July. And it was a night to remember.
“Nicki took Zac to her house in West Hollywood… She said he was the best lover she’s ever had,” says the spy.
In fact, the fling was so amazing that she actually dared to hope for more, that it might turn into a relationship. To her disappointment, it didn’t.
“She thinks Zac is so [attractive]… she would have loved to take things further but she knew he was through a phase when they hooked up,” adds the insider.
Oddly enough, since he broke up from his Disney girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, Zac has not been seen in public with other girlfriends. Even before that, he was often plagued by gay rumors, which he occasionally took the time to deny.
More recently, though, Zac has been making headlines for other reasons: various reports claim that, despite his squeaky clean image, he’s already been to rehab twice because he’d become addicted to cocaine.
The moment Nicki found out about the hookup rumor, she went on Twitter to set the record straight. She first asked her fans who Efron was because she was “confused,” and added, “Oooohhhh ok… Well I guess that rumor isn’t so bad after all. lmfao.”
She doesn’t say out loud that the hookup never happened, but it’s pretty clear that this is where she’s going with it.
