Nicki Minaj Is “100% Confirmed to Judge American Idol”

With Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler officially out of American Idol, and Randy Jackson not yet locked into his contract, it seems that producers are out to get new faces all across the panel. Nicki Minaj is the latest to join in on all the fun.

As of now, Mariah Carey is the only judge officially attached for the new season, but a new report says that Nicki too is on board.

The only thing missing right now is confirmation from Fox. Elsewise, the deal is done.

“I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it. A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening,” a show insider says for Us Weekly.

“[She is] 100% confirmed to judge American Idol,” a second, well placed source says for the same publication.

Reps for Nicki and Fox were not available for comment at the time of writing.
