Though Nicki Minaj is known for adopting various personalities for fun and to get buzz going for her music, fans are still intrigued by the possibility that she might have voiced her support for Mitt Romney.

Nicki and Lil Wayne have a new track out, called “Mercy.” Because of the explicit nature of the lyrics, we can’t embed it here but we’re positive you can find it online with the least effort.

Lifted off Wayne’s new mixtape, “Dedication 4,” “Mercy” includes a line from Nicki that’s gotten the entire internet talking about her political allegiance.

“I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy [expletive]s is [expletive]-ing up the economy,” Nicki raps.

We’ve embedded that fragment above but *please note that discretion is recommended when listening to it because it contains profane language that could offend.

Whether Nicki really meant this bit to be her open declaration in support of Romney or not, the bottom line is that it’s gotten people talking and, in the end, this could have been all she’s wanted from the get-go.
