14 DAY TRIAL // Of all the things that could happen ahead of the release of a music album to derail it or stifle sales, a leak is perhaps the worst. In music, this happens all the time – more recently to rapper Nick Minaj, whose new album, “The Pinkprint,” doesn’t come out in stores until Monday, December 15.
Embedded below is a brand new track with Nicki’s signature on it: it’s called “Beg for It” and it was probably meant as a surprise for fans, because it’s a new collaboration with pint-sized pop diva Ariana Grande.
This is the second time these two get together to make music, the first time being for chart-topper “Bang Bang,” which also lists Jessie J. among the talent. The trio performed it several times already, each time to solid response from the fans.
Chances are Ariana and Nicki won’t be taking “Beg for It” on the road anytime soon, because of the nature of the words: you don’t get any points for guessing what “it” in the title is. The track, which you can find embedded below, is all about getting down and dirty with a special someone, who, as Ariana says, doesn’t even have to wine and dine her, as long as he begs for it.
If you had any doubts, Ariana is only 21 years old, but she’s clearly ready to be considered an adult, a grown woman by her industry peers and the fans. Teaming up with Nicky for such a dirty and highly sensual track will undoubtedly help her with that.
