14 DAY TRIAL // Men all over the world rejoiced back in May when Sofia Vergara made the official announcement that she was separating from her fiancé Nick Loeb after she claimed that their relationship was coming to a close since they had drifted apart.
Page Six reports that Nick is now regretting the move and trying to win her back. At least, that's what he keeps telling his friends when he brags that he's going to get back together with the feisty Latin actress.
Several inside sources confirm that Loeb took matters in his own hand and headed down to New Orleans last weekend, on the set of Vergara's latest movie and tried to convince her into taking him back. The Colombian stunner is currently there on location filming the cop comedy “Don't Mess with Texas” together with Reese Witherspoon.
Other friends of the condiment king contradict this story, claiming that Loeb was only by accident in New Orleans at the same time as Vergara. They claim that Loeb is, by some weird twist of fate, “a reserve police officer for the state of Louisiana and hat to go on patrol with the sheriff's office.”
However, everyone can agree on the fact that Nick hasn't managed in his goal yet in convincing Sofia Vergara to forgive and forget. A friend later confirm that Nick didn't even meet up with Sofia, but with her adult son, Manolo, whom he took out to dinner and with whom he then watched the football match with Colombia in the World Cup.
The reason everyone is speculating on a reconciliation is because this is not the first time the two have parted ways. Back in May 2012, when they parted ways for the first time, they got back together just two months later, and Nick sealed the deal by proposing.
Maybe this time they'll eventually get married after they patch things up. At the time of the breakup, Sofia was pretty sure that their relationship had met its end. “We have been having too many problems with having to figure out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it's been getting worse and worse, not fun anymore,” she told her fans.
Since May, Sofia, a very desirable woman in Hollywood at the moment, despite her age, has been linked with a number of equally desirable bachelors. Among them, Tom Cruise was the most notorious, with rumors that they had rekindled a long-lost secret affair from 2005.
