On Friday the divorce of the 'Newlyweds' stars was officially final and yesterday Nick Lachey made his first live appearance as a bachelor and talked about his relationship with 'The Dukes of Hazard' star, Jessica Simpson.

The artist performed the hit 'What's Left of Me' in Manhattan's Rockerfeller Plaza, as part of the 'Toyota Concert Series on Today'. In front of a creaming crowd of female fans, Nick opened his heart and sang live the divorce-inspired track, whose clip features his current girlfriend and Jessica's ex-best friend, MTV presenter Vanessa Minnillo.

After the concert, when inevitably asked about his feeling on the break up, Lachey told Lester Holt that he is 'doing fine' and that 'it's a process we all have to go through. This week was the final step in that process'. No offense, but not all of us go through what he considers to be a rather normal process. Some of us stand by our marriage vows...

Nick admits that he has gotten over Jessica and that viewing 'Newlyweds' is no longer painful to him, because he is decided to move on personally and professionally. But, just for the sake of argument, a few days ago he was saying that he will never get over his ex wife and that he will always love her. What are we to think? Isn't Vanessa helping at all?
