The Hogans get sued for the tragic car accident caused by their son

Almost half a year has passed since Nick Hogan / Bollea, son of famous wrestler / reality TV star Hulk Hogan was involved in a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida. Nick - who fancied himself a race car pilot - slammed his Toyota Supra into a palm tree and critically injured his front seat passenger, John Graziano, leaving him in a permanent vegetative state. Perhaps even more shocking than the crash itself was the fact that in the weeks after the accident, the Hogans adopted a highly controversial attitude towards the tragedy caused by 17 year-old Nick, who emerged as entirely responsible for the crash and his friend's critical injuries. And now, both Nick and his father will have to answer for their behavior and attitudes in court, as the Graziano family has finally filed suit against the Bolleas.

The civil suit names Nick, as well as his mother Linda and his father Terry Bollea (best known to us as Hulk Hogan) as co-defendants. It also inculpates Daniel Jacobs, who was identified as the man driving the Dodge Viper car Nick Hogan was racing at the time of the accident. "The lawsuit cites three counts of negligence against Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan and Nick's father), one against Linda Bollea (Nick's mother), one against Nick Bollea, and a final count against Daniel Jacobs", the Tampa Bay News reports. The Graziano family is claiming that both of Nick's parents were fully aware of their son's passion for drag racing and did nothing to stop it. Nick had been caught speeding on many occasions, however his parents still allowed him to drive - while his father even allegedly bought him alcohol on the day of the crash.

Even more shocking is the fact that in the days after the crash, Nick's parents tried to deflect the blame form their son, issuing a statement saying that Graziano was to blame for his own condition, since he was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. However, their defensive tactics didn't seem to function, as shortly after the incident Nick was arrested on three charges, including third degree felony reckless driving. The tragic part of the story, however, is that John Graziano will most likely need special care for the rest of his life, while Nick Hogan was recently seen frolicking on the beach, enjoying the sun and the sea in the company of his mother and sister, who were both caught on tape drag racing some years ago.

Ok, I just had 2 friends die in a car accident last week on the way back from the beach they too hit a tree and had NO seatbealts. If the passenger had survived i know for a fact that the parents would NOT press charges to the other family! There is no way for us to know how everything really went down but that ladies son chose to get in the car and not to wear his seat bealt and im sure thats not the first car ride he has taken with Hogan. It is unfortunate what has happened to their son but her son was scared for his life and did not want to participate, he would have at least put his seat bealt on for sure. Hogans are def not to blame for these kids just trying to make them a living.
