Nick Cannon lashes out against Eminem for picking on his wife on new leaked track

Nick Cannon is known in the industry for anything but his aggressiveness, but that’s not to say he can’t unleash hell if someone picks on his wife, Mariah Carey. The most recent post on his personal blog stands as proof for that, Cannon ripping rapper Eminem into (virtual) pieces for dissing Mariah in one of his tracks off the “Relapse” album and even challenging the rapper to a confrontation, although he fails to specify what type of confrontation that would be.

Eminem’s “Relapse” got leaked on the Internet over the weekend, a little over a week ahead of the official release. Somehow, Nick Cannon managed to get a hold on a copy, listened to it and was extremely unpleased about Eminem still rapping about his short-lived relationship with Mariah, who has been Nick’s wife for the past year. As a matter of fact, Cannon got so upset that he spared no words in letting Eminem know just how wrong he was when he wrote that track – and how sorry he’ll be once he deals with him face to face.

Cannon calls Eminem’s “Relapse” mediocre and boring, until he reaches the track where he’s taking a hit at Mariah. Then, he finds himself with two angel and demon-like figures perched on either shoulder, and at a loss as regards whom to listen to. “No Nicholas, there is no need to play into his negativity. He is just a troubled soul yearning for the lost spotlight. You must be Christ like and turn the other cheek.” Cannon writes, as if “quoting” the angel. The demon then adds, “What Nigga?! Is you scared?! You can’t let no man ever disrespect your wife! Especially not some Peroxide drenched homophobic has-been! This is like some Paquiao vs. Hatton [expletive]! He is underestimating you with his [expletive] out and you can drop him in the first round!” Cannon continues by saying.

The singer is not upset, however, about the references Eminem makes to his own person on the track (including some lines about him being a gold-digger), as he is that he dared take on someone as talented and universally loved and appreciated as Mariah is. “This so-called man has just disrespected and slanderized one of the world’s most significantly influential artists, one of the most notable BLACK females of our time, the incredibly cherished, globally loved and world-embraced woman of color, Mariah Carey!” Nick says.

Consequently, he invites Eminem to take a swing at someone his own size – him, in this case. “Holler at me on some grown man [expletive]. Man to man, let’s meet up and deal with this like adults. This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I’m here Pimp! because I guess it’s going to take a corny, wack rapping, boy toy from Nickelodeon to set you straight.” Cannon concludes by saying.

As of now, Eminem has not responded in any way to Nick Cannon’s challenge of solving this “man to man.”

*Update: Since the time of writing, Nick Cannon has deleted the blog post in which he makes the comments mentioned above.
