South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung is ramping up for the release of the Nexus S, the second Google phone on the market, to countries in Middle East too, before the end of the month.

With this launch, Nexus S becomes the first Google phone to reach the UAE and other countries in Middle East, as the first such device, the Nexus One by HTC did not arrive here as of yet.

As far as reports go, the Nexus S might be available for purchase in the area for around US$750, and should hit shelves sometime around the 20th of the month.

Another interesting detail on this launch would be the fact that Nexus S might include access to the Android Market when launched.

Thus, it would also become the first Android-based device on the local market to include the app portal.

The move would be the result of a partnership between Google and TRA, though the access to the storefront might continue to be blocked on this device too.

The launch of Nexus S in the area might be followed by the availability of another appealing device from the South Korean handset vendor, namely the Galaxy S II, which is rumored to arrive in the region sometime in April or May.

For those who might have not encountered the Nexus S handset before, we should note that it comes with a 1GHz Hummingbird application processor inside, which can offer support for a wide range of capabilities.

Moreover, it comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display, which is curved, to fit user's face, 16GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back with video recording capabilities, and a VGA camera on the front for video calls.

The smartphone was launched with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system version on board, with 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, and support for various Google Mobile Services.
