Nexus S by Samsung, the long rumored successor of Nexus One, has just made another appearance at FCC, this time around with a pair of new antennas included into the mix.

The Samsung GT-i9020T, which is none other than Nexus S, was spotted at FCC before, and has made another appearance at the Commission recently, with the most obvious change being the new set of antennas, it seems.

Basically, the handset has received the necessary approvals with new Bluetooth / WiFi and GPS antennas, the guys over at Engadget report, though other changes might have been included into the mix as well.

Initially, some suggested that the Nexus S might have been delayed due to Samsung's plans to include a dual-core processor with it, so as to make it resemble more with another rumored handset from the carrier, the i9100.

The fact that the FCC documents spotted make reference only to new antennas in GT-i9020T does not mean that the device might not pack a new processor too, that's for sure.

However, there are no specific details available on whether other changes were included with the GT-i9020T model as well, but we should expect for more info on it to emerge soon, especially Samsung indeed plans on making the device available for purchase.

In case there are some who might have not encountered the Nexus S before, we should note that this handset was expected to be the first one to bring the next Android flavor to the market.

However, Android 2.3 Gingerbread won't be the only appealing feature of this device, as it was also suggested to come with a unique curved display on board, and with other features more.

We already had the chance to see the device into the wild, as Google's CEO himself brought it to the Web 2.0 summit a few weeks ago, but nothing was announced officially on it for the time being.

However, both Android 2.3 and the Nexus S are expected to be launched before the end of the ongoing year, which means that an announcement should not make us wait too long.
