Verizon Wireless customers are in for a nice treat before the end of the ongoing year, with a number of at least three new, high-end smartphones expected to make an appearance on the wireless carrier's network soon.

The said three phones have been all spotted into the wild before and they have just made an appearance in Verizon's internal systems.

We're referring here to the Nexus Prime handset, to the DROID HD, and HTC Vigor, all spotted a few days ago in Verizon's Cellebrite Systems.

The Nexus Prime is supposedly the next Google phone, set to land on shelves with the upcoming flavor of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich.

The DROID HD should be one of the first Android devices in Verizon's offering to pack a 720p Super AMOLED touchscreen display, and has been spotted with model number XT912 attached to it.

Rumor has it that this might be the DROID RAZR smartphone that Motorola was rumored not too long ago to plan for Big Red.

The DROID HD was also spotted in Verizon's Device Manager, when it showed support for 4G networks and the lack of global connectivity, it seems.

As for the Vigor, is leaked into the wild before in a series photos, and already got its specs put on the table. Moreover, it has already received the necessary approvals from the FCC, with model number PH98100 in tow (though ADR6425 model number was spotted as well).

Apparently, the HTC smartphone is set to arrive first on shelves, and might become available either on October 13th, or on October 20th.

Nexus Prime will be the next in line (it might arrive at Verizon in the already popular DROID lineup), with an expected release date set for late October, it seems.

As for the DROID HD, it might be brought to shelves only later this year, but still in time for the holiday season. Most probably, it will be released in November.
