Nexus Prime, the next Google phone, expected to arrive on shelves with the new Ice Cream Sandwich OS flavor on board, has been delayed, but we can still have a taste of it courtesy of the video embedded above, which shows its boot animation.

The handset in the video is not the upcoming mobile phone, but the DROID Bionic, yet the boot animation comes from Nexus Prime, since someone at MyDroidWorld forums has managed to grab it and load it on the Motorola device.

The animation shows the color palette that the XOOM displayed when booting up, but the hexagons were replaced with squares, it seems.

The upcoming Nexus Prime leaked yesterday in a new high-resolution photo and in a video that got us through a series of menus in Ice Cream Sandwhich, but which was pulled shortly after release. Screenshots with the OS are still available.
