Nexus One by HTC, the very first mobile phone that arrived on the market with Google's Android 2.1 operating system on board, and also the first handset to be marketed directly via Google's web store, is reportedly getting ready to become available for users of more carriers in the following few months. We already knew that Google would soon make it available with Verizon Wireless connectivity on board, and that it would land at Vodafone in Europe too, yet now some more specific details on the matter emerged.

The Nexus One has been just spotted in FCC's courtyard with support for CDMA frequencies on board, which means that it might not be too long before it arrives at Verizon. The currently available flavor comes with support for T-Mobile USA's bands, and can be also used on AT&T's network, but with no 3G connectivity. Moreover, an anonymous source told neowin recently that the device would become available with Verizon's CDMA connectivity in the package as soon as March 23 is here.

For the time being, no additional details on the matter emerged, but it does make sense for Google to make the device available for purchase with a wider range of connectivity options on board as soon as possible, that's for sure. As most of you might already know, Google announced that Verizon would support Nexus One in the following months, but hasn't provided a specific release date until now.

When unveiling the device officially, Google also said that Vodafone users in Europe would be able to enjoy the device in the near future, and it seems that it is getting ready to make it available on the old continent too. According to the Telegraph, Vodafone might get Nexus One on its airwaves as soon as April, but no details on the exact launch day emerged. For what it's worth, it should be interesting to see how the handset performs in Europe, considering that HTC will launch Nexus One's twin brother, the Desire, on the European market in April, which adds the HTC Sense experience into the mix.
