When it rains, it pours, and when a possible Google phone surfaces, rumors keep on coming. This time around, the said handset, which is expected to land on the market as the HTC Nexus One, emerged in a new video that shows it booting up, its name is said to have been trademarked by Google, and some alleged hardware specifications on it are also available. Moreover, there is also a photo of what appears to be its retail box.

Starting with the video, we should say first that it is a little longer than the previously spotted one with its boot animation. The handset is showed loading the Android operating system all the way to the home screen, and one can also see in the background what appears to be its retail box, with the Nexus One name written all over. You will find both the video and a photo of the box at the bottom of this article, along with a series of new images with it and its Android 2.1 build, courtesy of TmoNews.

Next on the list comes a series of hardware specs the guys over at TheseAreTheDroids posted on their site. The full details on Nexus One should emerge in the not too far future, but we need to move forth only with these pieces of info for the time being: - Proximity Sensor/Light Sensor: Capella CM3602 per sensors.mahimahi.so in Nexus One ROM Dump. - Snapdragon Specific Libraries found. - Accelerometer: BMA150 3-axis Accelerometer per sensors.mahimahi.so in Nexus One ROM Dump. - Magnetic Compass: AK8973 3-axis Magnetic field sensor/AK8973 Orientation sensor per sensors.mahimahi.so in Nexus One ROM Dump - Wifi Radio / Bluetooth / FM: BCM4329 in lib/modules - Routing audio to Speakerphone with back mic - Stereo FM speaker - Audience A1026 Noise Canceling Chip - Qualcomm QSD8K Specific hardware libs in lib/hw - Adreno 200 Graphics Core with OpenGLES 2.0 - Camera with auto focus, flash, white balance and anti-banding

As for the last part of the news on Nexus One that emerged since yesterday is related to Google trademarking the name. The company is said to have applied for the trademark on December 10 this year, a few days before handing the device to its employees. Google has been already rumored to plan marketing the device on its own and, while this is highly unlikely, the trademark suggests that Nexus One might not sport HTC's logo on it, although this is the company that manufactured it. Stay tuned to learn additional details as they emerge.
