Updating to Android 4.4.3 will bring about some nasty by-products

As you might as well be aware, the Android 4.4.3 update has started rolling out for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets, a few weeks ago.

But like is the case with many updates, the new build doesn't always end up bringing about benefits and improvements. And as AndroidOrigin reports, users of the tablet who have installed the new update have already started complaining about bugs and issues.

The Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 are apparently being plagued by the most issues, but the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 aren't immune either. According to owners who have updated to the latest build, the tablets now suffer from battery drain issues and notification malfunctions.

It should be pointed out that these problems aren't affecting all devices, so you might as well update to Android 4.4.3 and be fine with it.

Furthermore, it seems the Nexus 4 and 5 are more frequently affected than the tablets, so if you’re the owner of a slate, chances are, you’ll come out of this unharmed.

So far, Google hasn't said anything publicly about the problems, so there’s no word whether the company is taking some measures towards fixing any of the issues outlined above.

So even as Android 4.4.3 was meant to fix a bunch of bugs, it ended up bringing about a new host of problems, which of course, need sorting out too.
