Nexus 7 holiday deals aren't restricted only to the UK or US. Aussie Nexus tablet fans also have the opportunity to grab the slate with a shrunken price-tag.

We are told Officeworks awards the second-generation Nexus 7 tablet with 32GB of internal storage for just $AUD228 / $206 / €149, thus saving you the sum of AUD$49 / $44 / €32.

The Google Store in the country currently offers the same model for AUD$339 / $307 / €201 a pop, which makes the Officeworks promotion pretty attractive.

This discount beats competing offerings from retailers like Harvey Norman which sells it for AUD$318 / $288 / €188 while JB HiFi has it priced at AUD$327 / $296 / €214.

As a refresh, the Nexus 7 comes sporting a 7-inch LEF backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD resolution (meaning 1200 x 1920 pixels).

The powerhouse of the machine is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro coupled with 2GB of RAM. There’s also Adreno 320 graphics and 16GB of storage tucked neatly on the inside.

We don't for know long the discount will be available, so hurry up and place your order.
