The Nexus 7 2013 has been launched on Verizon last month

Yesterday I told you that Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has arrived at Verizon and is now on sale for those willing to pay $599 / €429 with a two-year contract or $699 / €501 outright.

But another interesting detail has come to my attention. Launched not long ago with the carrier, the Nexus 7 2013 is up for grabs for an affordable $49.99 / €36 if you’re willing to jump onboard with the carrier on a two-year contract, of course.

Customers looking to purchase the tablet outright will be able to do so for $349.99 / €253. As a reminder, the Nexus 7 2013 is a tablet manufactured by ASUS and powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

As the name suggest, the tablet sports a 7-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display supporting full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating for protection.

We’re not told whether the current rate will be applied permanently to the Nexus 7 under Verizon, but even so, if you have been waiting for the right time to grab Google’s second gen 7-inch, this might be it.
