If you are a Verizon subscriber and have been mulling about Google’s Nexus 7 2013 tablet, we have good news for you.

According to the ever faithful leakster @evleaks, the Google tablet might soon land on the carrier. The Galaxy Nexus has made an appearance at Verizon recently, so customers were wondering when they were going to see more Nexus devices on the network.

On top of that, @evleaks mentions that the nasty Verizon Logo, usually placed horridly on the device, won’t appear on the Nexus 7, so customers hoping for a clean aesthetic look won’t be disappointed.

At the moment, that’s all we know, so we can’t offer you any more details about the pricing availability and an official release date. Nevertheless, it shouldn't take long before we see an official announcement and customers will be invited to grab the LTE tablet.

A few months ago, there has been a lot of buzz around the Nexus 7 2013 tablet which was reported incompatible with the Verizon LTE network (apparently, not all users suffered from the problem).

Nexus 7 owners were notified they would have to wait for the Android 4.4 KitKat update before being able to connect to the network, but since the build has arrived for some time now, it makes sense for Verizon to make an announcement.

Back in September, the carrier revealed the slate was in the midst of going through a month-long certification processor before being granted LTE access.

The carrier released a statement in which it said that “during the certification process for the Nexus 7, Google, ASUS and Verizon uncovered a system issue that requires Google and ASUS to undertake additional work with Jelly bean OS running on the device.”

“Since Google was about launch its new Kit Kat OS rather than undertake this work, Google and ASUS asked Verizon to suspend its certification process until Google’s new OS was available on the Nexus 7.”

It appears the time has arrived and the compatible Nexus 7 is ready to come to Verizon. We’ll update you when the official confirmation comes.
