The Nexus 6 build is not the best we have seen

Remember that not so long ago we told you a Google official confessed that the Nexus 6 turned out to be so popular that the company just couldn't effectively keep up with demand anymore, causing the big phablet to be out of stock most of the time.

Well, even so the Nexus 6 is far from being perfect. Even if consumers get excited about it initially, once they get up and personal with it, they find the Nexus 6 is not devoid of annoyances.

Remember the back plate which kept ungluing? Well, this time we also bring you a story related to the rear part of the Nexus 6.

The logo on the Nexus 6 is peeling off for some users

A number of owners have posted images showing the logo on the back of their Nexus 6 peeling off. Mind you, this problem doesn't affect every model out there, but a few users are seeing this happen to their handsets.

According to users discussing this on the xda-developers and beyond, the problem is that the corners of the silver letters are getting tied up with the fabric and stretching the adhesive to its limits.

Since Google and Motorola support doesn't really consider this aspect a real problem, users are left to fend to themselves when it comes to the aesthetic qualities of their Nexus 6’ back.

A few possible fixes to the logo peeling problem

The problem can find a fix, but if the built quality of the Nexus 6 had been better, things like these would never have happened. For example, one can order a replacement cover from places like eBay and such.

Another way to go about fixing the problem is peeling off the entire logo. This will leave you with a colorless branding on the back of your Nexus 6, which is pretty much the case with the Nexus 5. It’s not a bad way of solving things.

Surely, people are not expecting to see their Nexus 6 remain unchanged over time, but seeing the logo peeling off after 2 days of use (as reported on the forums), it’s pretty disconcerting.
