Nexus 5 is only several weeks old, but enthusiasts are already dreaming of what the next smartphone in the popular lineup could have in store for them.

There’s no telling whether such a handset will indeed be released, but that did not stop designer Bob Freking (via concept-phones) from imagining what it could look like.

Dubbed Nexus 6, his concept device runs under Android 4.5 Lollipop, supposedly the next flavor of Google’s mobile operating system.

However, this is only one feature that would make enthusiasts want this phone, despite the fact that it is only a concept.

The handset also includes technology that different makers out there are already fitting inside their phones, and combines it in a unique superphone.

For example, there’s a 5 inch Full HD Super LCD 3 screen on the front of the handset, along with a Snapdragon 1000 processor inside it, and a 13-megapixel Ultrapixel camera on the back, with Optical Image Stabilization.

The smartphone also features 6 GB of RAM, a 6-inch aluminum chassis, and a six-core GPU. In fact, the processor also sports 6 cores, making this concept device a true Nexus 6 handset. The price tag would also be in line with the range, starting at only $299 (€221) for the 16GB model.

The designer also notes that this smartphone would be able to provide several days of usage time on a single battery charge, something that the owners of high-end devices on the market today have been long dreaming of, that’s for sure.

To learn a bit more on the device, simply have a look at the video embedded below. You’ll also have the chance to see an iPhone HD concept there, so there’s more to gain for you.

Overall, Nexus 6 looks highly appealing, though you should keep in mind at all times that it is nothing more than the imagination of an enthusiast, and that Google and its partners might never launch such a smartphone.
