Google’s Nexus lineup has become highly popular over time, but rumor has it that this year will mark the end of the series, with Nexus 6 being the last handset to be called “Google phone.”

No official confirmation on this has been provided as of now, but enthusiasts are certainly looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Provided that it will indeed be the last in the family, Nexus 6 should prove to be an impressive device. Of course, this is only speculation for the time being, especially since we have no details on what the phone might include, but things could turn out this way.

Until Google unveils specifics on its plans for the series, however, you can have a look at a Nexus 6 concept phone in the video embedded below, coming from 91mobiles.

Although only a concept device, it sports an appealing outer design, along with a nice range of high-end hardware specs that could easily make it inside the upcoming Nexus 6.

The phone features a 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution and protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass, and is powered by a 3.0GHz quad-core processor.

Moreover, it has 3GB of RAM along with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal memory options, as well as a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with 4k video recording, and a 5MP front camera for making video calls.

The smartphone runs under a next-generation Android version, supposedly called Android 4.5 Lollypop, though it remains to be seen whether the actual device will sport this as well.

Inspired by the LG G Flex, Nexus 6 features a curved body with a self-healing back cover, which should protect it from small scratches. The design is also said to be better matching the face of the user, for an enhanced experience.

On top of that, the handset has a pressure-sensitive screen, which means that users will be able to unlock it fast through gentle taps or swipes.

The Nexus 6 concept phone sports a polycarbonate plastic body and comes in a variety of color versions, including green, blue, yellow, red, white, and black. The usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors is also present on this device.

For the time being, however, this is only a concept phone, which means that the Nexus 6 that Google might be building in collaboration with one of its partners could look completely different. Until specifics on this are unveiled, simply take some time to enjoy the video below.
