The software might still pack various issues inside

CyanogenMod enthusiasts out there who have purchased a new Nexus 5 smartphone can now get a taste of the first custom CM ROM for their devices, although it is not an official release.

The CyanogenMod team has started to push the CM11 code to GitHub not long ago, and an XDA-Developers Forum member has already cooked a ROM for Nexus 5, it seems.

Those interested in the matter should keep in mind the fact that this is not a final release, and that it could still feature a series of bugs that will affect their experience with the device.

To grab the ROM, simply head over to this forum thread for the download link. The latest Gapps package is also up for grabs there.

As usual, we take no responsibility for any damage that might be caused to the handset while installing the unofficial software. You will be the only ones responsible should things go wrong when loading the ROM.
