The smartphone is available for purchase through various retailers

Nexus 5, the latest smartphone included in the popular series of Google phones, is now available for purchase in Finland too.

The mobile phone can be purchased in the country with a price tag of €499 ($678) attached to it, a recent post on esphoneblog reads. It is available via various retailers in Finland, which explains why it costs much more than in the United States.

The handset is capable of delivering high-end performance at this price tag, while also offering a pure Android experience, the same as other Google phones before it.

The smartphone comes to the market with a 4.95″ True HD IPS Plus touchscreen display, capable of delivering a full HD resolution at a 445ppi pixel resolution.

Furthermore, Nexus 5 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU.

The smartphone also features 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, but has no microSD memory card slot included in the package. However, users will be able to enjoy cloud storage on Google Drive.

On the back, the mobile phone features an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and support for full HD video recording. A front camera is also present, enabling users to enjoy video chatting while on the go.

The specifications list of the new device also includes support for GPRS, EDGE, and 3G DC-HSDPA (42 Mbps), HSUPA (5.76 Mbps) networks, 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac + DLNA), Bluetooth v4.0 (A2DP), and microUSB v2.0 port.

Moreover, it was launched with a built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS and GLONASS, NFC connectivity, digital compass, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, and wireless charging (Qi) capabilities.

Nexus 5 is powered by a Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery capable of delivering up to 17 hours of talk time on 3G networks, measures 137.9 x 69.2 x 8.6 mm and weighs 130 grams. The smartphone runs under Android 4.4 KitKat, the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.
