Today, LG made the White flavor of the Nexus 4 smartphone official, announcing that it would arrive on shelves in a matter of weeks in select markets around the world.

The new Nexus 4 White, a new flavor of the latest Google phone out there, will land on shelves with the same Android experience as the original Nexus 4.

Running under Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the mobile phone hits shelves with appealing Google Services, including Google Now and Photosphere.

“Nexus 4 set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. “Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option.”

Although the new device iteration features a different back color, it lands on the market with the same features and hardware specifications as the initial version.

This means that users will be able to take advantage of a 4.7-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution and a 320ppi pixel density, which also sports Zerogap Touch technology.

Nexus 4 also arrives on shelves with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor inside, as well as with 2GB of RAM, and with various internal memory options.

Furthermore, the smartphone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, as well as a front camera to enable users to make video calls while on the go.

The latest Google phone out there sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 3G (but no 4G), NFC, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors.

LG announced that Nexus 4 White is set to arrive on shelves in Hong Kong tomorrow, May 29, and that it will roll out to select markets in Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East over the next several weeks.
