Canadian wireless carrier Videotron has performed a new price cut to its Nexus 4 smartphone, providing users with the possibility to purchase it for $0 with the signing of a contract agreement.

The Android handset was made available for purchase in Canada on the network of this wireless carrier about a month ago at $149, MobileSyrup notes.

At the moment, Nexus 4 can be acquired from Videotron off-contract as well, for CAD$499.95 (USD $485 / €374). The contract price tag, however, matches that offered by Virgin Mobile, it seems.

“Nexus 4 is the new smartphone from Google. With cutting edge hardware, the latest version of Android, and the latest Google apps – Nexus 4 from LG puts the best of Google in the palm of your hand,” the wireless carrier notes.

Those who would like to grab the phone from Videotron should head to this page on the carrier’s website.
