Fido is the second Canadian carrier that confirms plans to release the LG Nexus 4, after Videotron.

The operator has just opened its online reservations system for customers who wish to pre-book their Nexus 4 devices.

As MobileSyrup points out, Fido customers who wish to reserve their Nexus 4 units will have to pay a $40/€30 deposit, which will be deducted from the phone’s final price.

According to Fido, LG Nexus 4 will be available on its airwaves beginning “early February.” This means that Videotron will be the first Canadian carrier to start selling the smartphone, as the operator has already confirmed that Nexus 4 will hit shelves on January 30.

Fido is likely to offer the 16GB version of the Nexus 4, which is expected to ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform out of the box. More details on the phone’s specs are available here.
