Nexus 4 owners rejoice, as Google has finally started the Android 4.4 KitKat OTA (over the air) update for their favorite smartphone.

The first company to upgrade some of its devices to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, Google only released the update for Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets and confirmed Nexus 4 will follow soon.

Well, it didn't took too long for the update to go live, though Google has already released the Android 4.4 KitKat factory image for Nexus 4.

Nevertheless, AndroidCentral reports Android 4.4 KitKat update is now pushed OTA (over the air) to all Nexus 4 devices. The update is about 240MB in size and contains lots of new features and improvements.

In the same piece of news, Google released earlier today a smaller update for all Nexus devices that already have KitKat installed. The minor update has been confirmed to include only bug fixes and minor improvements.
