Two Zelda games in the same year?

As the latest installment in the Zelda series was released not so long ago, rumors have started appearing about a new Zelda game, and according to those rumors, a new game that will top this Nintendo series is already in the works.

The December issue of Game informer reports that a new Zelda game has been in production for over a year and that it should come out sooner than expected. This rumor is signaled by Strategy Informer.

According to Game Informer, they have concrete sources who tell them that the next installment in the series has been in deep development for about one year. They also confirm that is unlikely for Nintendo to release two Zelda games a year apart.

As you know, The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess, was just released on Wii and Nintendo GameCube. Frankly, I don't know who will buy the GameCube version of the game, or who owns a GameCube for that matter. Twilight Princess is the first game in the series to be rated T by ESRB, for animated blood and fantasy violence. I'm "sure" that this will prevent little kids from playing and completing it.

I don't know how the new Zelda game will be called or any details about it, but I can tell you that Twilight Princess begins with Link living in Ordon Village working as a ranch hand. He is asked by the village's blacksmith to deliver the Ordon Sword to Hyrule Castle. He embarks on a journey with the mayor's daughter Iliam and Rusl's son Colin. Once they leave their village, they are ambushed by a group of monsters. Ilia and Colin are kidnapped and Link is left unconscious. I'm not going to spoil everything, so if you want to know how the story turns out, go and purchase the game.
