Infinity Ward has confirmed that it's going to debut a brand new update for Call of Duty: Ghosts next week in order to fix the balance issues encountered with the Bizon sub-machine gun.

Call of Duty: Ghosts came out last November and was plagued by quite a few different issues relating to multiplayer exploits and balancing, as some weapons or abilities were way too powerful as standard.

Fortunately, most of these problems have been fixed by developer Infinity Ward through the release of different updates and patches across all of the game's many platforms.

The latest ones appeared this month, and now Infinity Ward has confirmed that another different update is coming next week in order to solve at least one major problem relating to the Bizon sub-machine gun.

After careful feedback from fans as well as from competitions that hosted Call of Duty: Ghosts tournaments, the studio has decided that the Bizon is too powerful as is and will nerf it with the next big patch.

Until then, however, you can expect to continue seeing Bizon-wielding players in the multiplayer mode.

As of yet, the only estimated time of arrival for the next Ghosts patch is next week, so it's unclear just on what day and on what platforms the update will debut.
