Following the succes had by Ubisoft with the release of Rayman Raving Rabbids, it was only a matter of time until a sequel was officially
announced. Even though details are still scarce, it seems that Ubisoft has just confirmed it, since a short teaser trailer has been released by the company and it clearly suggests a new game.

The most interesting thing regarding the trailer is the fact that one of the rabbits interacts with a Wii Balance Board, which further means that the next title in the series will use the recently released Nintendo Wii gadget. Unfortunately, no other details were given by Ubisoft, so we can't tell exactly how much of it will be implemented. But having in mind that the first Raving Rabbids title had about 70 mini-games, we could say that we doubt we'll only have to use the balance board to play the game.

Even though the company will probably release a press statement detailing their next title when the hype reaches a high enough level, we can say that we're already anticipating the new Rayman Raving Rabbids, since the first one was so fun to play. And thanks to the balance board, we can be sure that at least a part of the mini-games following the release will be brand new ones and not just only remakes of the old ones (because, - let's be honest - there are hardly any options to create NEW mini-games today).

But we'll get all the details when the right time comes and, until then, we'll let you watch and enjoy the short teaser trailer. We just hope that Ubisoft will at least give it a try and start developing a real Rayman game as well. We're not complaining about the rabbids, but we'd like to see the man in action again!
