The next Mass Effect game might be called Contact, at least according to a new report, and it might be revealed at E3 2014 this summer by EA and BioWare.

The Mass Effect trilogy ended the saga of Commander Shepard back in 2012 when the studio released the third installment on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Since then, developer BioWare has revealed that it has been working on a new title in the series and confirmed that more details will be shared soon.

Now, industry insider Thuway has confirmed on Twitter that this new Mass Effect game already has a subtitle, in the form of _ _ N T_ _ T.

According to DualShockers, the actual subtitle might be Mass Effect: Contact, which could tie into the First Contact War, a great battle in the franchise's universe between the humans and the Turians aliens, before they became allies and humanity was welcomed into the group of space-exploring races.

That moment in time was hinted at during the actual games, and some more details were relayed via the novels that appeared based on the Mass Effect series.

As of yet, however, neither BioWare nor EA has commented on this major report. You can expect to hear more, however, in the following months or at E3 2014 in June.
