Word on the web has it that during last week's Macworld event, Apple released a new seed of Mac OS X 10.5.2. Accompanied by notes containing a quite lengthy list of fixes, seed number 9C16 focuses on areas such as Active Directory/Directory Services, AirPort, AppKit, Application, Firewall, Audio, Rosetta, Safari, SMB, Spotlight, SQLite, Terminal, Time Machine... and the list could go on forever.

It seems that with the arrival of this update, Apple will finally have fixed issues with Time Machine Preferences and Preview Image, while scrolling horizontally will now be possible using keys, NTFS Volume and System UIServer will also be fixed, along with DVDPlayback, second display hookup, Japanese localization and CUPS.

Here's the bigger list of fixes for users of Leopard operating system below:

- Border now draws correctly when 2-up printing
 - Preview Image and scrolling horizontally with keys
 - CFNetwork and Proxy error messages
 - NTFS Volume and System UIServer fix
 - DVDPlayback and second display hookup
 - Preview PDF and Mail Document fix
 - Resolved tabbing issue with PDFView
 - Fixed issue with Time Machine Preferences
 - Icon Services and file attachments
 - Time Machine and resumed backups
 - Images captured in tethered mode fixed
 - CoreAudio Toolbox and EstAudioFileRead
 - ImageCapture and file creation
 - SharedFileLists and SMB guest issue resolved
 - BackupCore and backup preparation
 - Japanese localization and CUPS
 - NSTextView and scroll bar thumb scrolling direction
 - SMB File Server and name resolving order
 - CFNetwork and Windows proxy ISA server fix
 - Fixed deinterlacing issue with DVDPlayback

According to AppleInsider, nearly one hundred "code corrections and enhancements" are in order for Mac OS X Leopard. Apple should make an announcement real soon, so we'll be keeping our ears to the ground throughout next week. As for previous seeds of Mac OS X 10.5.2, fixes recently made include

- AirPort shared printer fix - Disk Utility and FAT32 - HFS and allocated space - Memory leak with Rosetta

Again, according to the AppleInsider piece, as of the latest seed there are only two issues remaining unfixed, so you shouldn't be picky about the size of the update - of 450.8MB (for the Delta release).
