14 DAY TRIAL // Fact: of all the people one could hang up on, Oprah should probably be the last on the list. In fact, she shouldn't be on the list at all, especially if one happens to be a news anchor.
Sadly (and highly entertaining for us, I might add), the folks at WGN Morning News seem oblivious to this little truth.
HuffPost says that, this past Tuesday morning, the team was having a phone interview with Oprah. Mid-conversation, the call got disconnected. Ouch!
The news anchors do their best to keep their cool and laugh the incident away, but you can tell they're slightly freaking out. Check out the video below to see their reaction to the call getting disconnected.
“This is so typical. How do we cut off the one guest we've had that people might be interested in watching?” WGN anchor Robin Baumgarten said.
Well, I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure that's one trick other people in your trade aren't all that eager to learn anytime soon.
Luckily, they soon managed to get Lady O back online. She didn't lash out at them, but she didn't seem very happy about the experience she had just had either.
